Somituri Project - Imbo Licence
Overview
The Imbo Licence, covering 122 km², hosts a number of known gold occurrences from which the Belgians exploited approximately 0.30 Moz of gold from alluvial and primary in-situ deposits prior to independence in 1960. Metavolcanic rocks and clastic to chemical metasedimentary rocks underlie the Imbo Licence. Included within the chemical metasedimentary rocks is banded iron formation (“BIF”).
An NI 43-101 compliant report concluded a 1.87 Moz inferred gold resource estimate for the Adumbi/Canal Prospects. Other prospects currently being evaluated by Kilo include: Kitenge; Manzako; Adumbi North; Vatican; Senegal and Monde Arabe. Geophysics and geochemistry work have defined a number of other un-named exploration targets.
