Overview
Kilo Goldmines Ltd (Kilo) is headquartered in Toronto Canada, with regional administrative offices in Beni in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Johannesburg in South Africa (RSA). Beni is a key regional town in the Nord Kivu province of the DRC and the logistics gateway to Uganda and, thereafter, to key international ports such as Mombasa in Kenya.
Whilst our primary focus is to develop either jointly or solely our gold and iron ore prospects in the northeastern (DRC), we also have a minority interest (20%) in an iron ore prospect in Afghanistan, namely the “Hajigak Project“.
We believe that Afghanistan, and in particular the DRC, are significantly underdeveloped with respect to their resource potential and offer an excellent business opportunity for those companies who time and leverage their entry into these countries correctly.
